Song of Love and Death - while descending a high-rise building, a young man dressed as a Native American falls to his death. The climbing company he was working for was filming a promotional video at the site. Marie & Simmel begin their investigation and in the process of interviewing the widow come upon a minister who is later found dead in a sauna (in a brothel). Concurrent to these events, Marie is test driving a vehicle and backs into a car - the driver sets off romantic sparks and Simmel can hardly contain himself.

Paula, the wife of a busy estate agent, wants to help her sister's orphaned daughter Maggie restructure a debt-ridden inn after the unexpected death of her sister. In doing so, she gets in the way of her own husband, who wants to sell the property behind her back to a group of investors together with his young mistress.

Life of Greta Bücking and Paul Markwart seems to be in perfect order. Both are happily married - until they find out that their spouse died in a plane crash. But increasingly compacted suspected that Lutz Bücking and Karin Markwart were not traveling on business, but on the way to their common love nest, is a cozy hotel on Amrum.

Marie is fed up with always serving men as a fling. Now she wants to turn the tables and gets herself two male creatures: she regularly has wild sex with the muscular construction worker Frank, while pianist Alyosha is there for the romantic hours. But Marie develops more feelings for both of them over time, which is not her only problem, because the two lovers also happen to share the same apartment...
